The club runs weekly sessions at Hetton Lyons Country Park during the summer months and Farringdon Pool during the winter. This is a great way to 'dip your toe' into paddlesport and you will be most welcome to come along. If you require further information please use the contact form.
Membership for 2019-20 starts on 1st April 2019. You can renew at any time from 1st January 2019. Payment can be made at any event but must be accompanied with a completed membership form.
NB Membership form must be completed to ensure club insurance is valid.
Are you a novice or intermediate paddler looking to improve or hone your skills on moving water? This may be just the thing for you. In the next couple of months the club will be running sessions to build skills and help members achieve 3 Star White Water Kayak. If you are up for it, just let us know.....
The club will support any members (including coaches who wish to take the British Canoeing Paddle-Ability modules. Next courses are on 25 & 26th March. Use the contact form to request further information.
The Club Forum is where most communication between members about club activities goes on. Anyone can view the activities but only members are able to post.
The club is keen to promote canoeing within the membership and is proposing to run an introduction to canoeing session and to follow this with the opportunity to move on to 3 Star Canoe training with a qualified coach. For this to happen we need to have an idea of the interest, so please let us know.....
There has been some interest from members in sea kayaking. The club proposes hiring in a coach and equipment to run an introduction/refresher session and if there is enough interest a series of sessions leading to 3 Star Sea Kayak. We need to know numbers to establish the feasibility, so if you are interested please let us know.....
